Billy's Big Birthday Bash!!

Okay, so it was just cake and Cheesecake Factory. Big Birthday Bash sounds so much more exciting.
Everyone looks just a tad psychotic in this picture...ya think?

It must be SPRING

Yesterday it was warm enough that the kids ventured out to the hose; a sure sign that summer is not far away.

Ice Skating Show 2008

This year Emily's skating show number features the Gamma/Delta level skaters as Hannah Montana(s), skating to "The Best of Both Worlds". Lovely idea, cute routine, nightmare wig. First we have to brush, braid, braid more, then pin up her long, thick hair. Then the wig...with 1,000 bobby pins. Let's not even talk about the 8 piece costume OR the skates that need lacing! She does look pretty cute though. ALL the Hannahs do!

Waiting to go on!

With the Skating Bear. Em is front & center.

Emily's Room!

Friday we went to IKEA. Saturday Em woke us at 6 A.M. so her dad could start putting the loft bed together. Not an easy thing to do. One boo boo and it's all over. =0)
Later that same day, Billy got a little help from our buddy Scott. They got it done JUST in time for the Phineas & Ferb party to go on as scheduled, and then have Emily go to sleep in her very own bed in her very own room. Happy endings. What a great Daddy she has!

Her cheeks match the room!

Chariot Race night on Phineas & Ferb

This time we had a Grecian theme for the new episode of P & F. We even lit candles because Ryan wanted it to feel like a "Grecian temple". Hmmm.

Home made wreath around Em's head

My Friend Robbie

I am not too proud to say that I think it is way cool that the director of the new movie "The Forbidden Kingdom" is a very old friend of mine. I knew him when he was just a kid; in our teen years we watched him draw pictures on napkins at Lyon's and listened to him talk about wanting to be an animator. He went on to create characters in Disney movies and eventually directed "The Lion King", among other movies. His latest film opens today and it looks pretty fun. Here is a picture of him with his adorable wife Crystal & the stars of the film.
See-I told you it was way cool!!
