JERRY'S KIDS
Every year since I was a kid, we have watched the MDA Telethon on Labor Day. Nowadays, it is just a ritual-though the telethon itself has become a bit of a joke, I still hold a place in my heart for the golden age of the Jerry Telethon-when I would make Jeannette & Mary stay up late with me & cheer for the kids in the wheelchairs-and because we almost always have a brunch or a party of some kind- I am always sure to send some money, just to say thanks for the memories.. and now that I proof read this I realize: Holy crap. I am officially a middle aged person. Oy.

I really do understand your love for Jerry. I have adored him for as long as I can remember. I know many think he is untalented and the French got it wrong. I think they got it right. I think he is a brilliant comic/actor and I love his singing. So he isn't the Jerry of yesteryear but I still love him and can't get enough. He was ripped apart when Dean died. Gotta love him.
